FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO YOU PROVIDE FREE CONSULTATIONS BEFORE WE DECIDE ON A HOME CARE PROFESSIONAL?
Yes, prior to scheduling a speech and language evaluation, a licensed professional will provide consultative services. A phone/email consultation will allow us to determine the need for a formal evaluation and will give families an opportunity to express their current concerns.
ARE YOUR PROVIDERS LICENSED AND CERTIFIED PROFESSIONALS?
Yes, all of our providers hold state licenses, along with certifications through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and Early Intervention credentials.
DO YOU PROVIDE IN-PERSON OR TELETHERAPY SERVICES?
At this time we provide families with both options at home, in-person; as well as teletherapy. This purely depends on the family and their preferences and needs.
DO YOU OFFER SERVICED OTHER THAN SPEECH THERAPY?
At this time, Ascending Sprouts Pediatric Therapy is only providing speech and language therapy services. We are looking forward to growing and expanding our area of expertise in the coming years.

DO YOU INVOLVE PARENTS IN THE TREATMENT PROCESS?
Yes! Parents play a large role in the development of speech and language skills in young children. Families are actively involved in choosing and working on goals for their children. Our providers are here to help, teach, and guide parents on how best to support a child's speech and language development. Recommendations for areas to target at home are provided to promote carryover to everyday situations and various communication environments.
DO YOU PROVIDE SCREENINGS?
Yes, Ascending Sprouts Pediatric Therapy may provide screenings to children to determine if further testing and/or formal evaluation would be beneficial.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WHEN MY CHILD RECEIVES AN EVALUATION?
